As part of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Acıbadem University, our laboratory investigates fungal evolution. We integrate advanced computational and experimental methods to decipher the genetic foundations of adaptation, virulence, and other complex phenotypes. Our work aims to advance the fundamental understanding of genomic architecture and its functional consequences in biological systems.

Specific research areas include comparative genomics, pangenome analysis, and the characterization of critical genetic determinants across diverse organisms, with a specialized focus on the cross-kingdom pathogen Fusarium oxysporum.
